All Entry Schemes for Joining Indian Army 2025
1. NDA Entry (National Defence Academy) – Only for Male Candidates
Qualification: 10+2 (PCM for Navy & Air Force)
Age: 16.5 to 19.5 years
Gender: Male Only
Selection: Written Exam by UPSC → SSB Interview → Medical
Training: NDA Pune & IMA Dehradun
2. TES Entry (Technical Entry Scheme) – Only for Male Candidates
Qualification: 10+2 with 60% Marks in PCM + Appeared in JEE Mains
Age: 16.5 to 19.5 years
Gender: Male Only
Selection: Shortlisting based on JEE Mains → SSB Interview → Medical
Training: 5 Years Technical Training + Commission
3. ACC Entry (Army Cadet College) – For Serving Soldiers (Both Male/Female in Service)
Qualification: 10+2 Pass (Minimum)
Age: 20 to 27 years
Eligibility: Only Indian Army Serving Soldiers
Selection: Written Exam → SSB Interview → Medical
Training: 3 Years at ACC Wing, IMA Dehradun
4. SSC Technical Entry – For Men & Women
Qualification: BE/B.Tech Degree in relevant discipline
Age: 20 to 27 years

Selection: Shortlisting → SSB Interview → Medical
5. SSC Non-Technical (Women Entry)
Qualification: Graduation in any stream
Age: 19 to 25 years
